Cookie Policy
This site sets no cookies. That is the whole policy, and the rest of this page explains what it means, what happens instead, and what we would do if it ever changed.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and to send back on later visits. Websites use them to keep you signed in, to remember settings, and — most often — to recognise a browser across pages and across sites so that behaviour can be measured or advertising targeted.
What this site does
kinetichub.online sets no cookies of its own, and it allows no third party to set a cookie through it. Specifically, there is no analytics of any kind, no advertising or conversion tag, no tracking pixel, no social media embed, no A/B testing tool, no chat widget and no session identifier. We have not disabled a cookie banner while keeping the cookies; there are no cookies to disclose.
Because a consent banner exists to obtain permission for cookies, and there are none here, this site has no consent banner. A banner on a site that sets nothing would be a false statement about its own behaviour, which is worse than no banner at all.
The site also uses no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no IndexedDB, and it performs no browser or device fingerprinting. Nothing is written to your device by this site, and nothing about your browser is measured to recognise it later.
No third-party content is loaded either
Cookies are only one way a third party learns that you visited a page. Loading a font, a script, a stylesheet or an image from another company's server tells that company your IP address and which page you were reading, whether or not a cookie is involved. This site loads none of those from anywhere else. Its stylesheet, its one small script and its only graphic element are served from this domain, and the fonts used are the ones already installed on your device. While you read a page here, your browser makes no request to any other company.
What happens instead
The server that delivers this site keeps ordinary request logs, as web servers do. Each entry records the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the page requested, the response code, the amount of data sent, the browser's user agent string and any referring address the browser supplies. Those logs are held by our hosting provider, are used for delivering pages, diagnosing faults and protecting the server, and are retained for up to 30 days in the ordinary course. They are described in full in the privacy policy.
If you write to us, we hold that email. Nothing else about you is recorded anywhere.
Links away from this site
This site links to other websites: Australian government services, support organisations, and a game vendor reached through a paid link. Once you follow any link, you are on a site operated by another organisation, and what it stores in your browser is governed by its own cookie and privacy policies, not by this one. The paid link is described on the affiliate disclosure page, and following it involves no cookie set by us at any point.
Controlling cookies in your browser anyway
Nothing here needs to be blocked, but your browser's controls are worth knowing about for the rest of the web. Every current browser lets you view the cookies stored for a site, delete them individually or in bulk, block third-party cookies by default, and clear everything when the browser closes. The controls sit in the privacy or site settings section of the browser's own settings, and they apply regardless of what any individual site asks for. Private or incognito browsing discards cookies and site data when the window is closed, which is a quick way to visit an unfamiliar site without leaving anything behind.
If this ever changes
We do not plan to add tracking to this site. If that position ever changed, the commitment is straightforward: this page would be rewritten to name each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime; a working consent mechanism would be published in the same release; and no cookie requiring consent would be set before that consent was given. The effective date at the top of this page would change, and the privacy policy would be updated in the same change.
